Teory Ash, PhD
Dr. Tory Ash, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral clinician at Madison Neuropsychological Services. She recently earned her doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed her predoctoral internship as a school psychologist in MMSD. Throughout her training, Tory has worked extensively with children, adolescents, families, and school teams, providing comprehensive psychological evaluations, consultation, intervention, and counseling in both school and clinical settings.
In addition to her clinical work, Tory is an educational researcher whose interests center on improving student outcomes through evidence-based practices, consultation, and educational systems. She served as a research fellow in the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Interdisciplinary Training Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences, and has published research on school psychology, teacher consultation, and educational equity.
Experience
Before beginning her doctoral training, Tory earned her master’s degree in psychology from Syracuse University and served as a teaching assistant and laboratory manager in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Outside the Office
Outside of work, Tory enjoys gardening, reading true crime, hiking with her two dogs, traveling, and exploring Madison’s local restaurants.
